Site photo to signed-off handover, in five steps.

Your crew does one step and Baton does one. The rest is a few minutes at your desk.

The one-minute version

Step 01Office, once

Setup

Create the company, connect Google Drive, add a project. Baton hands back a six-digit code and a QR: that is the key to the site.

Step one: sign up, connect Google Drive, create a project with name, site location and capacity, and get the project code and QR to share with the crew.
Step 02Crew, phone

On site

Scan the QR or type the code, pick the equipment type, photograph the nameplate, then two photos of the unit and mark its condition. Nothing to install and no login. It keeps shooting with no signal and sends the photos when signal comes back.

Step two: open by QR or six-digit code, pick the equipment type, photograph the nameplate, add exactly two photos of the unit, select its condition, and pass the quality check. Captures saved on the phone upload when signal returns.
Step 03Automatic

In between

Each photo gets its own item number, the same one that appears on the register row, on the photo in the PDF and on the file in your Drive. Two AI models read it and compare, and anything they disagree on is flagged for you to check.

Step three: each photo receives a permanent item number, is read twice and the two readings compared so only matching confident values are accepted, then the photo is copied into Google Drive and deleted from Baton.
Step 04You, checking

Back in the office

The register fills in live. Check each plate's manufacturer, model and serial against its photo in a few seconds, fix anything Baton flagged, and merge duplicate serials so the count stays honest.

Step four: a live register of captured equipment with accepted and flagged counts, a review panel for a flagged item showing the photo beside the extracted details, and a duplicate serial comparison with keep and remove.
Step 05One click

The deliverable

Set your logo, colour and column headings once. Generate makes the PDF, the Excel workbook and the CSV together, filed in your Drive.

Step five: set the company logo, brand colour and column headings, click generate to create the PDF, Excel and CSV together, and find all three in the project folder in Google Drive with photos organised by equipment type.

That is the whole product. Try it on your next site.
